Manildra Group process over 1 million metric tonnes of wheat per annum. The Bomaderry location is a dynamic site, set between Bolong Road and the banks of the Shoalhaven River. The Grain Unloading Building Upgrade Installation project was situated over the existing train line.
Illawarra Engineering Services was contracted to provide and manage a team to carry out the design, shop detail, supply, fabrication, and installation of structural steel work and sheeting.
IES mobilised a design & fabrication team to design, shop detail, supply, fabricate, HDG and deliver over 95t of structural steel ready for installation in under 14 days. IES‘s ability to work independently and be flexible to work around the train timetable was a key factor in being able to deliver a successful outcome for our client in a dynamic & trying location.
