The Adelaide Desalination Plant (ADP) is a part of the South Australian government initiative to secure a sustainable and reliable drinking water supply for the future. The entire project value was $1.8 b and is located at Londsdale South, 30km from Adelaide CBD. An important component of the ADP is the transfer pump station located adjacent to the desalination plant site. IES was invited to work with McConnel Dowell on the transfer pump station and pipelines.
