As a Sub-Contractor to Veolia Water Systems, IES were awarded the close-out work for turnover packages at the new Wollongong, Bellambi and Port Kembla Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) . IES provided supervision and trades personnel for the E&I work and also provided support to the commissioning team.
The state of the art plants included an upgrade of existing facilities and pumping stations. Installation of new equipment included Actiflo and Multiflo units, an 8 Gig litre bio-reactor. Seen in the photo is the completed Water Re-cycling Process Building (WRP) consisting of continuous micro-filtration and reverse osmosis equipment, which was installed by IES.
